I use this to make my iced tea and it works great. My bags normally are made for a full gallon and even though this is only a half gallon, it still worked. It is heat resistant. I poured boiling water in it with no problem. It fits well in the fridge and I have no complaints. Pours well and stays sealed when not used.

Like many other reviewers, I was surprised that it holds the 64oz it says it does. It just simply looks too small. Yes, the glass is thin, bus is comfortable to use, without adding too much weight. I have arthritis in my hands, so that is a big plus. My only complain (hence 4 instead of 5 stars) is the pour spout is too shallow. It does take a bit of time for the water to come out. This fits nicely in the door of my refrigerator, and looks nice on my kitchen counter where it spends most of the day as I empty it. Except for the shallow spout, I am delighted with it, and even bought one for my sister.

I was looking for a carafe that wasn't plastic and this one is perfect. Although I wish it held a little more liquid, it's probably the perfect size. If it were any bigger, I think it would be a hassle in my fridge. It fits great on the door and washes easily. The best part by far is the flip top. Super easy to use and never drips! Just awesome. Probably going to buy another one for juice as I use this one for water.

I prefer the taste of iced coffee, so I will prepare 12 cups in the coffee maker the night before. I wanted the ability to pour a whole 12 cups to chill it overnight. It works perfectly at fitting the full 12 cups! I do have to wait to pour the hot coffee in, because I'm afraid of the glass shattering. But this pitcher cleans up perfectly, and is as clear as it was the first day I bought it, which is why I chose glass over plastic.

I have two of these. This one is the smaller of the two. I use it to keep cold water in the fridge. Very easy pour. Classy looking on any table. One of the few that I have found that you can put boiling water in to make tea.The narrow neck is great for easing out the teabags and getting more water out of the teabag. I would definitely recommend this product and have had several compliments on it. Would be great as a gift!

The things I like are: it is short enough to fit under refrigerator shelves. Looks nice/ my wife loves the look, is very light, and can pour hot coffee in it even after taking it out of the refrigerator. Down side for me: Small hands are needed to get inside of it to clean it. Opening is 3 & 1/4 inches. The lid does not seal the unit. I used pliers and turned really hard on the hanging stem/screen and was able to very cleanly snap off the post and was left with the cover in perfect condition. It is only spot welded on. So the picture of it is with a small hand doing the cleaning and it does not seal completely. Otherwise it is perfect.

Bought two, one for home and another for office use. Nice looking pitcher. The pitcher feels well made for daily use. I especially like that it is made of glass and metal - no need to worry about chemicals etc since there are no plastic components.
In addition, buying from the seller (HiwareDirect) is a worry free buying experience - I contacted the seller for an issue and the seller solved the issue to my 200% satisfaction! The seller is awesome!

My only real complaint so far, is that it often drips after you finish pouring. Not a huge deal, but I have to keep a paper towel underneath to keep juice from staining the counter.
The glass is very thin and seems fragile. It hasn't broken yet so maybe it's fine, but I will update if it breaks.

I loved upgrading my crappy $2 plastic pitcher to something that looks like I'm actually an adult. It's hard for me to envision what a 64-ounce pitcher looks like, so I laughed a little when I opened the box; it seemed so much smaller than what I thought I'd get (which is completely my fault for not looking at dimensions before ordering). However, it holds a lot more than it looks like. I had family visit over the recent holidays, including my mom, who's a voracious iced tea drinker, and I didn't have to make and refill the pitcher nearly as many times as I thought I would! It's definitely high-quality, and I'll take a look at their other products in the future when I'm upgrading other items.
