I am very pleased with my recent purchase. Wish I would have been able to find one bigger though. These cast iron trivets work very well when placed over the top of your burner to raise your soup kettle high enough so that while cooking soups or stews they don't scorch the bottom of your pan. Great gift idea and personal home use.

This trivet is both beautiful & well-made! It serves its purpose by elevating hot dishes/pots off a tablecloth or table.
